REAL Quantum Green Generators

REAL Offshore and Ozhydrocars have a new range of green energy powered standby generators ranging from 2.5kW right up to 2MW. Each one is custom built to the specific requirements of our clients. Installing one of our Quantum range will save you hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars each year and they are guaranteed for 5 years of normal usage.

Our solution to a free electricity source is here for homes, farms, mining camps, rural areas, emergency power sources and businesses, and our generator sets use green energy to run the engines, replacing diesel or LPG. This means anyone can have an electricity source running on just water.

This shows a typical 10KVA standby generator which can be supplied with our REAL Quantum hydrogen power pack. We will be adding a complete range of generators and the specifications and design will change depending on the size and type of installation.

We do not use costly solar panels or wind turbines which can be damaged in storm conditions, our Quantum range runs on just water.

Home Generator Sets

This range of Quantum Home Green Generators includes units with outputs from 2.5kW up to 10kW and these can be installed by a qualified electrician to either provide your home with completely free power, or just as an emergency supply in case of power cuts. We can supply this range from stock as these are standard small generator sets and can fit any home requirements. So all we need is the power requirement of your home and we will provide a quotation and specification to suit you.

The smallest in our Quantum Green range is the ideal generator to take on your camping, caravanning or boating trips, its light weight and low noise make it a very popular choice. This generator is used for keeping the leisure battery in the caravan or motor home charged, powering a TV or Laptop and lighting. Thanks to the inverter technology, the power out put is a pure sine wave, so there are no spike that cause damage to sensitive electronic equipment like computers and TVs.

100 amp Moeller Changeover Switch

Change over switch for connecting a standby generator to your building.
This switch is rated at 100 amp and will handle the biggest of household installations. Please check with your electrician before installation. We recommend that all installation be carried out by a qualified electrician.

This 100 amp Moeller change over switch is suitable for domestic supply, as it is rated at 100 amps.
The changeover switch has 2 switchable poles and an earth connection. The supply from the mains and the supply from the standby generator are connected into the bottom of the switch and the output to the distribution board exits from the top of the switch.

Grid Tie Inverter

REAL has been experimenting with a method of feeding the renewable energy generated at home, into the electricity grid. This has the effect of making full use of the generated power without having to store it anywhere.

The original trial unit was the Mastervolt Soladin 120, which is tiny and only has a 100 watt capacity. It does not have UK approval and it has the two pin continental type plug arrangement. We devised a switching system for my two 64 watt Unisolar panels so that they can be fed in series to power the Soladin, as it needs a minimum of 24 volts to operate successfully.

The large commercial domestic solar PV systems use much more powerful grid tie inverters like the Sunny Boy products, but we are yet to experiment with such a system. If done on a large enough scale, you can sell your excess power back to the electricity company. Our trial Soladin experiment is just a way of dipping a toe into grid tie technology without spending a fortune, as it only cost $100.00 or so.
