We have produced the world's first EFIE that is designed specifically for use with wide band oxygen sensors. It will work with all types of wide band and AFR (Air/Fuel Ratio) sensors. To be clear, it is the EFIE of choice for both 4-wire and 5-wire oxygen sensors. Also note there is a variation of the 5-wire sensor that uses 6 wires. This device will work with these too. Please note, it will NOT work with narrow band sensors. For these, you must use any of our other EFIE product lines, such as the Dual EFIE Deluxe.

Note that this product is only available in a dual configuration at this time. This means that this device will control 2 wide band oxygen sensors. For vehicles with single wide band oxygen sensors, just don't hook up the other circuit.

This model comes in a mountable box, and encased in protective plastic. The wiring is 18 gauge, with quick disconnects that can unplug from the device for easy installation. It has one potentiometer that controls the air fuel ratio adjustment for both sensors. An LED shows when the unit is powered up. By using the included rubber cap to cover the potentiometer, the unit becomes waterproof.

These units have a start up delay of about 45 seconds. After approximately 25 seconds the unit will start ramping up. At 45 secs it will reach it's full adjustment to the sensor's signal. This delay is by design so that the fuel mix will be richer during engine start up.

This unit is highly precise. It's signal drift is less than 1% across it's entire operating temperature range, which is -40C to 125C (-40F to 257F). Note that the electronics can get that hot, but the casing will start getting soft at 90C (194F). "C" = degrees Celsius and "F" = degrees Fahrenheit.

An Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer is used to adjust the signal from the oxygen sensor(s) before they get to the engine's computer to compensate for an increase in fuel efficiency brought about by another fuel efficiency device. The single version handles one oxygen sensor, and the Dual version is for 2 sensors.

Each Dual EFIE Deluxe comes with:

1. External voltage adjustment screws, so you can adjust the amount each EFIE circuit modifies it's oxygen sensor's output.
2. Two ports for each EFIE circuit that accept multi-meter test leads, and hold them snugly so you can read the adjustments you're making without having to hold the leads (or open the box).
3. An on/off switch.
4. An enclosure with mounting flanges, to secure the EFIE to your vehicle.
5. Five feet of cable.

The Digital Dual EFIE Deluxe is the first of a new family of products that we have developed. These will allow much leaner settings on vehicles than other types of EFIE. They should now be used for all narrow band oxygen sensors that are upstream of the catalytic converter. It has a number of important new features:

1. Can make the air/fuel mix much leaner than earlier designs. With this device you can lug down your engine, and often kill it if you set it too lean.
2. Absolutely rock steady adjustment no matter what temperature the environment. Will vary less than 1/2 of 1% over it's rated temperature range of -40 to 125 Centigrade.
3. Will work with older, "tired" oxygen sensors that should have been replaced. Other EFIE styles may require these to be replaced. Mind you, if they are old, they should still be replaced. But if they are working prior to your EFIE install, they will still work with this EFIE.
4. One adjustment knob modifies both sensors equally. These devices are much easier to set.

Note: If you need to treat sensors that are downstream from a catalytic converter, we do not recommend this device. Use our legacy style EFIE for these sensors instead. These are intended for upstream sensors only. We now offer a Quad EFIE with 2 Digital upstream EFIEs and 2 EFIEs designed to handle downstream sensors for complete oxygen sensor control.

The FS2 is dynamic - which means the FS2 will consider oxygen levels in the exhaust, along with engine speed and load, intake air temperature and volume, and many other variables to determine the most efficient fuel delivery rate and timing at up to 256 separate load points.

When using HHO as a fuel supplement, the FS2 will adjust fuel delivery and timing to optimize efficiency.

The FS2 is a vehicle specific, custom programmed 20MHz Microcontroller. It utilizes its high speed serial input/output to communicate directly with the ECU through the OBD-II port.

The FS2 is compatible with factory equipped Turbo/Superchargers, diesel engines, Flex-Fuel, & HHO supplement systems.
It is NOT compatible with hybrid engine options, propane, or natural-gas.

Is this the right one for my engine?
The FS2 has room for up to 8 performance maps, which we use to cover different engine options for a particular vehicle. For example, the 1999 Ford Mustang Volo Chip will be compatible with both the 3.8L V6 and the 4.6L V8. The FS2 will read the first few bytes of data from your ECU during calibration to determine which map to use.

Whats the difference between the FS1 and the FS2-HHO Ed.?
The FS2 is much faster than the FS1, which means faster & more consistent gains. The FS2 also sports more memory than the FS1, so we are able to include more HHO specific coding.

The XT180-X1 has been designed to be fitted to the majority of new and used cars and SUVs on sale in Australia with engines from 1 litre to 6 litres.
